ગુજરાતમાં યોજાયેલી છ મહાનગર પાલિકાની ચૂંટણીનું પરિણામ જાહેર થઈ ગયું છે. અહીં ભારતીય જનતા પાર્ટીએ ફરી એકવાર સાબિત કરી દીધુ કે ગુજરાતને શા માટે ભગવાનો ગઢ કહેવામાં આવે છે. ભાજપે અમદાવાદ, રાજકોટ, સુરત, વડોદરા, ભાવનગર અને જામનગર કોર્પોરેશનમાં મોટી બહુમતીથી વિજય મેળવી ફરી સત્તા કબજે કરી છે. ભારતીય જનતા પાર્ટીની ધમાકેદાર જીત બાદ પ્રધાનમંત્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ ટ્વીટ કરી ગુજરાતની જનતાનો આભાર માન્યો છે.
પ્રધાનમંત્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદી ‘આભાર ગુજરાત’ લખીને ટ્વીટ કર્યુ છે. તેમણે પોતાના ટ્વીટમાં કહ્યું, ‘આભાર ગુજરાત, છ મહાનગર પાલિકાના પરિણામો દર્શાવે છે કે પ્રજાને વિકાસની રાજનીતિ અને ગુડ ગવર્નન્સમાં વિશ્વાસ છે. ભાજપ પર ફરી વિશ્વાસ કરવા બદલ પ્રજાના આભારી છીએ. ગુજરાતની સેવા કરવી તે ગર્વની વાત છે.’
